Multiple worship nights lit up Grand Canyon University (GCU) this week as students gathered across campus to close out the year in praise. Worship broke out at The Grove parking garage, followed by “Jesus Pancakes” to cap off the night. Freshman Dylan shared that five people prayed over him during the gathering, after which he "danced for pancakes."

The garage service lasted approximately two hours. Meanwhile, near the Engineering building, a separate worship gathering took place on the patio.

Freshman Ainsley delivered a powerful self wrote worship song at a recent Canyon Worship event, receiving strong acclaim from the crowd. While guests interviewed afterward at Jesus Pancakes, she boldly proclaimed, “Jesus is King.” This kind of organic, student-led worship has become a vibrant part of GCU life, reflecting the campus’s passionate faith community.
